FIELD TRIP 15: THE END.

OVERVIEW

All good things must come to an end.  After five-and-a-half years, PRS FIELD TRIPS will go out with a bang with its 15th adventure, finishing in the city of imagination, Orlando FL.  Coincidentally (or purposefully?), the final Field Trip takes place just a few months before the long-speculated “end of the world” in December 2012.  Because of this, its theme will largely be a play on the phrase, “the end,” and the event will celebrate Mayan and other ancient cultures that have come to pass (other themes include Roman and Greek).  Field Trip 15 will bring back old friends and faces that have become staples to the events.  But this isn’t just about the past.  PRS will bring in new faces, including actors and horror writers who have captured the imaginations of many, who have focused a good deal on the symbolism behind “death.”  The event will also tackle the concepts of transformation and beginnings.

FT 15 will be celebrating Halloween early.  Being right next to Universal Studios, which transforms its entire mammoth theme park in to one giant haunted house funhouse!  Surprise guest speakers from all over will join us.  Many will be surprising, some not so, but you’ll still be glad to see old friends.  And then the lectures, circle discussions, the city treks, ghost hunts, etc. will all be top notch.  A This will be the most intimate experience of all the field trips.  It doesn’t matter if only 50, 100, or 175 people come.  We’ll all be sitting around, waiting for you.  After all this is a family.  But that doesn’t mean we can’t go out in style!  Our friends, will you join us for the biggest and final Field Trip blast?  We hope to see you there.

OVERVIEW OF EVENTS

ZombiePocalypse Party - Whether you want to find a table to hide out in and talk, or pretend to bite your significant other out of love, no one is going to pay much attention!  The Dead Will Rise.  The place will transform in to a graveyard.  And the dead will rise to dance once more!

Ghost Hunt - Believe it or not, Orlando is known for actual haunts.  But this time, our ghost hunts won't be like our old ones.  It won't feel like a ghost tour.  Nor will it feel like you're being babysat.  You want to be scared, or catch a glimpse of the other side?  Well, you asked for it!  As of right now, we are planning and arranging for us to investigate THE ST AUGUSTINE LIGHTHOUSE! There will be limited amount of space avaible for this ghost hunt as it is about 2 hours away, but there will be plenty of other ghost hunt locations that will be available near by

Circle Discussions - Something all of us within PRS love above all other things.  Sprawling across the boardwalk and the Hard Rock Hotel, as well as other peaceful spots, we will gather around for some special one-on-one time.  During breaktimes, special hints and clues will let you know where some of us are hiding.  Make it before anyone else, and you win special one-on-one time with us. 

UNIV-CON Style Presentations & Workshops - PRS will be bringing a collective and unique group of special guests, from actors, artists, scientists and investigators of all kinds to help make this year's FT not seem like something you've heard before, but rather, a refreshing take on all things paranormal, horror, etc.

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Theme Nights - It may seem silly, but it's been Ryan and Eilfie's dream to attend Halloween Horror Theme Night.  And both are more than happy to attend some of the haunted houses and rides (not to mention the Harry Potter theme park) with as many guests as possible.

Cassadaga Spiritual Camp - Not far from Orlando lies a unique little town called Cassadaga. This 116 year old community is filled with spiritually minded people. From psychics to healers, everyone whose visited this location says that there is something energetically unique about this place. 

Sunrise Opening Ceremony- PRS members, co-stars and Field Trippers will be celebrated in this opening ceremony. The most-attended Field Trippers will also be honored with appreciation awards.

Sunset Closing Ceremony & Special Announcement- With the official end of FT15, everyone will gather one final time to say their goodbye’s. Before everyone departs, one final surprise will be unveiled, simply entitled, “The Beginning.”

Plays & Shows- There will be a variety of different shows, including:

“RYANS ROOM PRESENTS: A SERIES OF OVER-ELABORATE, WELL-ACTED & WELL-WRITTEN MASTERPIECES.” From the mind of Ryan Buell comes a 1-hour presentation of comedies written and acted by Ryan Buell and his cousin, Amanda Bonavita. These skits were written by a then 14-year-old Ryan and Amanda, continuing in to their early twenties. Over a decade-and-a-half later, the old scripts and even early footage have been recovered and Buell, with special appearance by Amanda and his early actor friends, will perform the skits in front of the FT15 audience which include ‘An Expensive Summer Movie,’ ‘Jordan Ranger,’ and what they believed was destined to be the scariest movie of all-time, ‘It’s Not A Dress, Dammit!’

“PARANORMAL STATE: THE MUSICAL.” Journey through the greatest moments of their first hit TV show as the entire series is condensed and re-enacted by actors in this hilarious “dinner play” written and performed for the first time.

Special ‘EXPERIENCE’ Presentation- Since this is the final Field Trip, celebrate some of PRS’ greatest achievements and moments with these TED-themed, short-lecture style presentations:

“GAG-REEL” You never knew that the most intense, real-life paranormal documentary show also had some of the most hilarious moments that didn’t make the show’s cut. Includes scenes where “Ryan Falls Down,” “Ryan Falls Again,” as well as “PRS Bursts Out A’ Laughin.” And because it deserves its own reel, “Chad Pranks.” You’ve heard about some of these pranks before, like Chad throwing Ryan across the hall, or frightening Chad awake during the ‘I Am Six Two’ case, but now the cast will take the stage to discuss the events and memories.

“CASES: TO BE CONTINUED” The show, “Paranormal State” may have only been 22-minutes, but the cases continued on after the episodes aired. PRS will present 5 cases that were more intense than the episodes themselves and continued on after the cameras stopped rolling.

“RYAN BUELL’S HORROR ANTHOLOGY PRE-RELEASE PARTY” Celebrate the early release of Buell’s upcoming book, a series of short horror stories with a special reading and signing.

“THE PRS BUREAU GRAND UNVEILING” Whether you’re one of The First 200 or not, PRSwill unveil to the world for the first time, various aspects of The PRS Bureau before it launches to the world in October 2012.

Eilfie Music's Engagement Ceremony- 11 years after joining PRS as one of the founding members, Music met the love of her life through PRS and has agreed to be married. Celebrate Ms. Music and her engagement in a special ceremony. There will be laughter, cheers and undoubtedly tears as friends and family celebrate Miss Music’s future!
